At a debate at Bloomberg’s Auditorium on the 15th March, Plan unveiled their recent survey of Londoners’ attitudes to private car ownership, as well as the alternatives offered by car clubs and new-model minicab services such as Uber.

Chairing the event Plan’s Kevin McCullagh set the scene for the debate before a presentation of Plan’s 2016 Car Ownership Alternatives Survey by Debbie Nathan. Lars Hesselgren, Director Research at PLP Architecture also gave a sneak preview of an urban infrastructure concept that fuses Autonomous Vehicles and mass transit in London. The event concluded with a stimulating panel discussion on the future of cars in the city from a range of experts from different fields, providing the audience with an engaging and entertaining debate before offering questions from the audience.
