Looking to understand how the Covid-19 pandemic changed our food and sustainability behaviours?

During April and May of 2020, Plan conducted a survey to better understand how the global pandemic has shifted food shoppers’ buying habits and their attitudes towards sustainability in food. We distilled nine key insights from our research findings, which helped us discern what new behaviours emerged, or accelerated and which ones are likely to remain once we resume our ‘normal’ lives.

The results from our survey were complemented by qualitative interviews and cross-checked against key industry and consumer trends. With this report, we aim to identify innovation opportunities that food and beverage players can leverage during these uncertain times.
